CAPTÆN for women — the largest frame in the collection

CAPTÆN is the largest frame in our collection: 58 millimetres lens width, 49.5 millimetres lens height. Deliberately space-taking.

Large frames easily look borrowed on a narrow face — with CAPTÆN the weight prevents exactly that. 20 grams of beta-titanium means the frame is visually present without sitting on the nose like a statement. The bridge measures 15 millimetres, the narrowest in our collection, which sets the frame higher and closer to the face.

Gold reads warmer, gunmetal more restrained, black at its most severe.

Six models, one core

Every solaero frame is built around the same core: beta-titanium, UV400 lenses in filter category 3, anti-reflective and scratch-resistant, deliberately non-polarised. What differs is the shape.

CAPTÆN and STRÆTOS are the larger frames — teardrop and squared lines, both 100 % beta-titanium, 20 and 19 grams. HÆLO is the finest and, at 17 grams, the lightest in our collection. NOMÆD, VÆCTOR and SKYMÆSTER pair an acetate front with the titanium core: round, trapezoid and with a browline brow.

All models are cut unisex, with lens widths from 49 to 58 millimetres and a uniform temple length of 145 millimetres. Full measurements appear on every product page — measured, not rounded.
