solaero was born where most eyewear fails: under the headset.
We are two airline pilots in training. Flight training means headsets — for hours. And we learned fast: almost every frame becomes a problem after hour three. Pressure points. Weight. Frames that bend out of shape.
So we built the frames we wanted to wear ourselves. Pure titanium — flexible enough to withstand headset pressure. Light enough to forget. Hypoallergenic, even on the longest legs.
That was the beginning. solaero is not an eyewear company — solaero is an aviation lifestyle brand. Eyewear is our first product, not our definition.
Six models, one core
Every solaero frame is built around the same core: beta-titanium, UV400 lenses in filter category 3, anti-reflective and scratch-resistant, deliberately non-polarised. What differs is the shape.
CAPTÆN and STRÆTOS are the larger frames — teardrop and squared lines, both 100 % beta-titanium, 20 and 19 grams. HÆLO is the finest and, at 17 grams, the lightest in our collection. NOMÆD, VÆCTOR and SKYMÆSTER pair an acetate front with the titanium core: round, trapezoid and with a browline brow.
All models are cut unisex, with lens widths from 49 to 58 millimetres and a uniform temple length of 145 millimetres. Full measurements appear on every product page — measured, not rounded.
Prices from 149 to 169 euros. Free shipping within Germany and the EU.
